Faye Wang (February 5, 1982) - Since I was young, I'm assuming around the age of 5, I possessed an enormous appreciation for Art. I had the opportunity to hone my artistic abilities from elementary to high school. I have always been known to many people in my life as an artist. At first, I detested being called as only an artist since I had other talents, then in the end, I took it as an appreciation.

I have been exercising my artistic skills. I worked in a small Art Gallery at Soho, worked in graphic arts for an online art company, worked for a Private Art Collector and volunteered at Guggenheim Museum. Currently, working in a prestige publishing company in relationship in Art. On my free time, I freelance as a web designer or other production projects, such as www.chihandjenny.com. As for my future, I hope to pursue a career where I can fully implement my unique talent as an artisitc.

I was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. At the age of two, my family, including my two sisters and brother, moved straight to the Bronx, New York; didn't get to assimilate the Taiwan culture but adapted the new culture. We lived poorly with only $500 dollars to our name but thanks to my parents to take all their efforts to support us with food and shelter. As a quiet, timid girl, instead of meeting friends, I picked up drawing from watching my father and Bob Ross on PBS.

Since then, I helped make/design a mural for my elementary school graduationg ceremony in 1995. At the age of 13, I had one of my works displayed at Sotheby's. I had many works displayed at F.H. LaGuardia H.S. exhibitions from 1997-2000. When I entered in S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo, where I have designed numerous flyers, posters and public displayments. In 2004, I graduated with an Art History degree.
